· Do not choose just any website. Before making a decision, spend some time at the website. Learn it, and whom the traffic is coming from it. This is particularly easy to do with a blog.
· Look for sites that are in some way related to your own. For example, perhaps you sell windows. You do not want to have your link on a site that is not in some way in relation to this. Rather, choose a home improvement site.
Not every website is a candidate for your link. Keep in mind that PPC publishing is still a highly effective and deeply discounted way of getting qualified leads to your website. However, if you invest just a bit more time in choosing the right websites, every click will mean something to your bottom line.
